Welcome to our Club
The West Rouge Canoe Club is a not-for-profit organization that offers paddling programs to foster the physical, mental and emotional development of children, youth and adults in our community. Our primary focus is the development of athletes who will compete in Olympic flat water sprint canoe and kayak racing at the local, national and international level. Within this competitive framework, we also offer a variety of programs that serve athletes of all ages and ability levels through an assortment of paddlesport activities.
We off summer camps, counselor-in-training programs, canoe, kayak, dragon boat, outrigger, PaddelAll, a junior dragon boat challenge, dragon boat rental and coaching services. See our "Programs" link.

Testimonial
"...I wanted to let you know my kids have loved WRCC this week. My daughter, especially has loved every moment, can’t wait for next week and has told me she’s coming back every year to eventually become a counsellor. My son may have been a bit young for WRCC this year but he has never complained, had a great time today when he won at Pickle and an eating contest (a clever ruse by one of the counsellors to get him to eat). WRCC has tested their endurance and we are so proud of them for canoeing as far as they did. There could not have been a better place for them to be than at the shore of Lake Ontario during one of the worst heat waves in three years.
Our family may consider a membership to the club based on this great experience. Caroline, Jen and all the other staffers have encouraged my kids to eat and drink their water, and to get the sunscreen on. Because of the kid’s experience, they have told their friends in the neighbourhood and I am sure we will bring other campers to you next year..."
